Creative Zone and Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) have partnered to accelerate the progress of women entrepreneurship in the UAE, through a set of diverse entrepreneurial and educational initiatives.

Spearheading the collaboration, it is a delight to announce the launch of our ‘Incubator and Accelerator Programme’ that aims to benefit 100 selected women through a 12-week intensive online training program. The program will assist in achieving possible solutions to the barriers, women face when starting and growing businesses, such as knowledge of and access to finance, their legal rights, getting customers and a lack of relatable role models and mentors.

With innovation and education central to the development of human capital, the programme targets an expansive group of women that are either employees (regardless of position and industry), entrepreneurs or other professionals seeking to enhance their occupational knowledge and skills. The 12-week module will provide theoretical and practical courses led by renowned entrepreneurs and industry experts.

ENTRY CRITERIA

The program is essentially designed for start-ups led by women and/or aspiring women entrepreneurs with a concrete business plan already in place.

To qualify for the program you should be:

  • A female citizen and a resident of the UAE
  • Above the age of 21
  • Entrepreneurs with an existing business
  • Original business idea in the concept phase
  • In the process of setting up a business
  • Small business (could be home-based) that has the potential to grow into an SME
